Está integrada en calidad de miembros principales, por los siguientes servidores públicos: el presidente de la ANP, el presidente del TE, el director del IGNTG, eldirector delINEC, el Ministerio de Gobierno y el MEF.La función del IGNTG es proporcionar la información cartográfica que sirva como base para el trazado de la DPA.El proceso de actualización de la capa de Límites políticos administrativo de la República de Panamá, a escala 1:25,000, se elaboró a partir de los vectores de la cartografía Base extraídos de las imágenes IFSAR, MDT, ortofotos tomadas en el año 2012. En los casos que no se pudo actualizarpor inconsistencia de la ley se elaboró un informe que detalla los diferentes casos. Los insumosutilizados :Gacetas oficiales hasta el año 2022, modelos digitales de terreno, imágenes de radar y información geográfica vectorialdel año 2012, antigua cartografíabase a 1:50,000 (Fotografías aéreas 1954al 1992), ortofotografías tomadas desde el año 2000 al 2002. Los Límites Internacionales se delimitan mediante los Tratadoscon los países vecinos Colombia y Costa Rica.La DPA de laRepública de Panamá se componepor698 corregimientos y 6Comarcas Indígenas, 83distritosyde 10 Provincias, en base a las leyes aprobadas hasta el año 2023.",
